Must See: Montana Fall Road Trip - 2022

Wild Goose Overlook - St. Mary's Lake - East Side Going to the Sun Road - Glacier National Park Fall is like the blissful sunset of a beautiful day. The colors of the year blazing into brilliant reds and oranges. The weather holding out the last vestiges of warmth. And all the world seems to be curling up over a cozy mug of hot chocolate in the waning light. Just before the cold night of winter settles in. I love fall. And everything that it brings with it. Especially, I love the mountains in fall. How they can go from striking to moody in a matter of moments. And, (even) most especially, I love Glacier National Park in the fall. Friday Recap: Chasing Amazing

Is it really Friday? Wow, what a week. The last seven days have been full of inspiration, economics, conversations, questions, friendships, and challenge. Through it all, God has shown me His faithfulness and His love. Here are the highlights:

  • Making Passive Income with Photography - Thanks to James Furlo for his thoughtful help and input.
  • A little reminiscence on these last three years in DC - A Photo Essay
  • Knocked out the longest run of my life - 10mi. - and am still paying the price.
  • Fighting with HTML.
  • Discovering an awesome single-light photographer - Zack Arias - Check out his blog.
  • And it ended with a spectacular light show.
This picture pretty much sums up the week. I am incredibly blessed to have amazing friends. But, although this picture is pretty sweet, the best picture is, as Ansel Adams said, the one I haven't taken yet. So, with this expectation that, in the Lord, the best is yet to come, I am excited about what this next week holds. Maybe next time I get the actual lightning. What picture will I get today? What will tomorrow bring?

Here's to chasing amazing.
