Must See: Montana Fall Road Trip - 2022

Wild Goose Overlook - St. Mary's Lake - East Side Going to the Sun Road - Glacier National Park Fall is like the blissful sunset of a beautiful day. The colors of the year blazing into brilliant reds and oranges. The weather holding out the last vestiges of warmth. Practice: Capturing Animals

Ok, sometimes, you just have to have fun. What's better than hanging out with animals playing.

And, it's a seriously fun way to practice your photography skills. Learning to see your subject and anticipate when they will be in that perfect pose, especially when you can't direct them, is a skill any serious photographer needs. Whether you're capturing events, family portraits, or just playing around with your own pet - anticipating the moment and the shot can take your photography to the next level.

How to practice: go to your local zoo, go with your friends to the local dog park, or bring your camera to the next backyard BBQ (just don't be that guy...)

I like to spend some time capturing animals to keep my skills sharp.

Enjoy!
