Must See: Montana Fall Road Trip - 2022

Wild Goose Overlook - St. Mary's Lake - East Side Going to the Sun Road - Glacier National Park Fall is like the blissful sunset of a beautiful day. The colors of the year blazing into brilliant reds and oranges. The weather holding out the last vestiges of warmth. And all the world seems to be curling up over a cozy mug of hot chocolate in the waning light. Just before the cold night of winter settles in. I love fall. And everything that it brings with it. Especially, I love the mountains in fall. How they can go from striking to moody in a matter of moments. And, (even) most especially, I love Glacier National Park in the fall. Must See Travels: Scotland

A cozy village in Scotland. A castle at the convergence of firths. The Isle of Skye. Castles standing and fallen. Many generations back, part of my family called Scotland home. So for my parents' 40th wedding anniversary, we went back in family history to discover our roots and celebrate our history from so long ago and from these past 40 years. It was a trip generations in making.

As you know, we here at BKP love celebrating the milestones in our lives and lives around us. And you get to benefit. Just check out the slideshow below (or see it all here: Brad Kehr Photography/Scotland).

And to Mom and Dad:

We love you. Thank you for the incredible example you have been to me of perseverance, patience, and an indomitable spirit to overcome through the growing pains of your children, five challenging moves, an a plethora of day-to-day minutiae. But most of all, thank you for teaching me that life can only be lived in dependence on God and faith in His Son. Thank you for your 40 years and those to come.

May each one be as a cottage in a village. Full of stories, joy, laughter, peace, and a hope that comes from eternity. May your love for each other continue to grow and spill out into all of the lives around you. In the grace of God.
